 Application in the prescribed format are invited for appointment under 4 – tier system for various faculty positions for the post of Professor and Assistant Professor (Contract) in various Departments of National Institute of Technology, Silchar from eligible candidates fulfilling the essential qualification and having experience required for the posts :

• Professor : Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 AGP Rs. 10500/- 
  
• Assistant Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.  15600 - 39100 with AGP of  Rs. 6000/- for contract in various Departments.
