Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Technical University of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) at Katra, Jammu is a fully residential institution set up on the pattern of IITs. The University has established 10 Academic Schools to impart UG, PG and Ph. D. Level education. Applications are invited for faculty positions at the following level:

Vacancy : 

1. Professor : in the  Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Energy Management, English and Architecture & Landscape Design, Pay Band : ₹37400 - 67000, with AGP of ₹10000/-
2. Associate  Professor  in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Energy Management and Architecture & Landscape Design, Pay Band : Rs. 37400 - 67000, with AGP of ₹9000/-
3. Librarian :  Pay Band : ₹37400 - 67000, with AGP of ₹10000/-
4. Registrar :  Pay Band : ₹37400 - 67000, with AGP of ₹10000/-

Application Fee : Application Form should be accompanied with application fee in the form of a DD of ₹500/- drawn in  favour of ‘Registrar, SMVDU’, payable at Katra/Kakryal/Jammu. However,  no  application  Fee  is payable for Ph.D. qualified candidates.

How to apply : Candidates may apply on the prescribed format along with a demand draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, payable at Jammu to be sent by Registered / Speed Post only so as to reach by or before10/04/2017 at The Registrar, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University,  Kakryal, Sub Post Office, Katra–182320 (J&K).
