Recruitment for 49th SSC (Technical) Men and  20th SSC (Technical) Women 

Applications are invited from married/ unmarried male and unmarried female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army in all Arms/ Services. Course commencing in October 2017 at Officers Training Academy (OTA),Chennai, Tamil Nadu. :

• 49th SSC (Technical) for Men :  175 posts in various Engineering streams, Age : 20-27 years
• 20th SSC (Technical) Women : 20 posts in various Engineering streams, Age : 20-27 years
• Widows of Defence Personnel : 01 post, Age : 19-29/20-31 years
• Pay Scale : ₹15600-39100 Grade Pay ₹5400 and MPS ₹6000/-
